VBS RainForest Adventure
Three more Tuesday nights in July-- the 15th, 22nd, and 29th from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Registration forms need to be turned in by June 29th. Kids ages 4 to those entering 6th grade are invited to attend. Older kids (teens) can be helpers. Invite the kids in your neighborhoods; grandparents--bring your grandchildren! New Members Class:
Saturday, Aug. 2nd from 9 a.m. to noon. If you would like to become a member, please plan on attending that day. RSVP to Pastor DanaLee so she knows to expect you, Child care can be arranged if that would be helpful. New members will be received during worship on Aug. 17th.

Rebecca Circle and Ruth Circle will
not meet in July. These two circles will resume in August.
The "Last Say":
Tuesday, August 4th from 9 a.m. to noon. Start then to have your "Last say." Please RSVP to the church office so we will know the number to expect for lunch. For more info as to just what is the "last say," read the July Scribe.
Birthday Party!
For Charles Spaid on Friday, July 25th, 6:30 p.m. at Crestwood Care Center, 3665 Brinker Ave., Ogden. Please RSVP to Jack Spaid at 731-3706 as he needs to let the care center know how many people to expect. Let's all show up and help Charlie celebrate his birthday.
Assisting ministers, communion assistants, ushers, readers, coffee hour hosts/hostesses for the months of July & August are needed. Please sign up on the forms on the hallway bulleting board for the dates you are available.
LSS Of Utah Fundraiser:
Friday, July 25 at Franklin Covey Stadium (1300 SW Temple, SLC) see the Salt Lake Bees vs the Oklahoma Redhawks. There will be a central Out-Field Tent with a Silent Auction from 5-7 p.m. followed by the Bees Baseball Game at 7 p.m. Tickets: $28/adults and $14/children under 10 yrs. A baseball trophy will be given to the congregation with the highest attendance! Proceeds benefit Lutheran Social Service of Utah first generation, low-income, refugee, senior ministries.
